Tony Harold Freeman, 50, was called home to spend eternity with his loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 11, 2018. Tony triumphed within his battle with esophageal - stomach cancer, being rewarded after a faith-filled fight of three years against this disease with everlasting life in the presence of Jesus.

He was born on September 5, 1968 to Jane Bunch and Ronnie Freeman in Springfield, Missouri. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1986 and attended Sheet Metal Workers apprenticeship school, where he went on to enjoy a 23 year career in the field of industrial and residential HVAC and custom sheet metal works, mostly in the Springfield area.

In June of 1993, he was given a daughter, Chasity. Their family was then made whole in June of 1999 when he married Valerie, giving him his two sons Griffith and Garrett. On January 26, 2018, he was so honored when he became known as “Pop” to his beautiful granddaughter, Scarlett Nova Foster-Freeman

Tony's life is continued through his wife Valerie Kay (Foster) Freeman, daughter Chasity Louise (Freeman) Hance and husband, David; son Griffith Payne Foster-Freeman and wife, Caitlin and their daughter, Scarlett Nova; and son Garrett Blayne Heavin. Also T.J. Stockton and Noah Reese, who shared the same special place in his heart as his own children.

He is also survived by his mother, Celia Jane (Downing) Bunch, his father, Ronnie Harold Freeman, and his brothers Jeffery Wayne Freeman and wife, Paula, and Jason Ryan Freeman. Tony served as a great role model to his nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of many friends and family.

Tony was preceded in death by loving grandparents Cecil “Jim” Harold Downing and Madge Louise (Farley) Downing.

Memorial services will be held at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri on October 14, 2018 at 3 p.m., with visitation from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Tony requested donations to the church he loved, The Foundation Church (301 S. Clay St., Marshfield, Missouri 65706).

We will always be thankful for the exceptional care he was given through the doctors and nurses at Hulston Cancer Center, Hospice Compassus, Cox Medical Center, and Ferrell - Duncan.

We will carry your love and memory with us, until we see you again.
