Mrs. Eva Nair England, 89, of 702 South Main Street, Greenville, died 2 January 1977 at her home after an illness.

Funeral services will be at First Presbyterian Church in Greenville with Rev. Hall Todd officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery with National Funeral Home of Greenville in charge.

Mrs. England, a native of Natural Bridge, Va., was born 7 June 1887, the daughter of the late Charles Perry Nair and Frances Burger Nair. Mrs. England attended Queen's College in Charlotte, N. C., prior to her marriage to Frank A. England Sr. on 5 June 1912. Mr. England died on 5 December 1958.

A resident of Greenville for 50 years, Mrs. England was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville and was a longtime member of the Greenville Garden Club.

Survivors are a son, Frank A. England Jr. of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. B. B. Wilkes and Mrs. Raymond Thompson, both of Greenville; a brother, C. P. Nair Jr. of Clifton Forge, Va.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
