The Camden County Sheriff's Office was heartbroken to announce the death of K-9 handler Sgt. Kevin Barber Saturday morning after he died of cancer.
"Unfortunately, we are heartbroken to announce that we lost the lead K-9 handler Sgt. Kevin Barber this morning after he fought a tough battle against cancer," said the Camden County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit via Facebook.
The viewing will be held Wednesday October 17th from 4pm-8pm at ALLISONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL 10141 Colerain Rd, St Marys, GA 31558.
The funeral will be held Thursday October 18th @ 2pm at the EVERGREEN BAPTIST CHURCH 1365 Kinlaw Rd, Woodbine, GA 31569.
Staging area for the procession, all Law enforcement and public safety vehicles, meet October 18th no later than 1145 at Christ Church Camden,(across from Walmart) 201 Kings Bay Rd, Kingsland, GA 31548.
