ALBRO, Janet E.- Age 58, of Columbiaville, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at Lapeer Regional Hospital. She was born August 10, 1938 in Flint, daughter of Martin and Virginia (Herrick) von Linsowe. Janet met her husband, Bill Albro, while she was working as a car-hop at the Varsity Drive-In. After only one month, they knew it was forever, and they were married by the Justice of Peace on May 29, 1959. The family adds, "She wanted Justice, He wanted Peace." Together they shared 38 years of marriage. She has been working for Brookhaven as a direct care worker, caring for the elderly. She is survived by husband, Bill; daughters, Julie and husband Joe Calleja of Colorado and Jennie and husband Matt Walker of Clio; sons, William J. Jr., and Fiance' Leigh Ann of Davison, and John Albro of Texas; grandchildren, Michael, Stephen and Trenton; 1 sister, Lorraine von Linsowe of Flint. Her parents preceded her in death. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday from 5 until 9PM and Friday from 10AM until 2PM and again from 4 until 9PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 26, at 11AM from the Baird-Newton Funeral Home in Columbiaville, Father Andrew Czajkowski will officiate.
