Jack Lavern Bartlett, 83, of Muncy, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born September 9, 1935 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Franklin and Loie (Wright) Bartlett. On August 20, 1955 he married the former Marysue Gross, who survives. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Jack was a graduate of Montoursville High School. Early in life, he worked at Acme Markets and Valley Farms. Jack also sold insurance for Washington National before becoming owner of Poly Grower Greenhouse Construction, LLC, Muncy.

He was a former member of the Muncy Presbyterian Church and most recently attended Faith Wesleyan Church, Williamsport.

Jack enjoyed the outdoors camping at the family river lot, as well as fly fishing and hunting. He was also a great card player and cherished time spent with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Lon Singer, of Montoursville and Heidi and Rodger Emery, of Riverside; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Barbara Bartlett, of Montoursville; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased two sons, Scott and Steven Bartlett; and one sister, Mary Jo Hiller.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St. Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Hartzell, officiating.

Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
