Chris Parker passed peacefully and gracefully in the loving arms of his family and our heavenly father. Respected husband, best friend and the strongest shoulders to lean on for almost 40 years to Susan K.Parker (nee Krekel). Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mary Parker, and his mother-in-law Charlene Krekel, with whom he shared his rye sense of humor. Very proud dad and father-in-law to Jackie Lubitz, Chris Jr. (Cheryl) Parker, Scott (Laura) Parker, Doug (Ashley) Parker, and Mike (Brittany) Parker. Cherished and fun loving pawpaw to Trenton, Skylar, Hunter, Sawyer, Carson, Madilynn, Emma, and Noah. He will be missed by his sisters Debbie and Connie who truly loved and stepped up in his hour of need.He was a great mentor, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, friend to many, co-worker, and neighbor. Chis was honored to be a Vietnam vet and member of VFW Post 3944. He has loved all aspects of outdoor living, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers, horses-any outdoor activity and he was game. But his kick in life was seeing his kids/grandkids laugh and truly enjoy and experience life in all forms. His heart was full and beamed with pride. Even though he was a "Busch Man", please raise your choice of beverage, smile and be thankful for even the smallest things life has to offer. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to : H.E.R.O.E.S. CARE an organization he was proud to be part of with his employer and friend David Work. Visitation Monday October 15th 2018, 4:00 - 8:00PM @ JAY B. SMITH MAPLEWOOD CHAPEL, 7456 Manchester Rd. Funeral Tuesday October 16, 2018, 9:00AM @ JAY B. SMITH MAPLEWOOD CHAPEL. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
