Marilyn B. Peterson, age 93, a resident of Manitowoc, entered into eternal life on Friday, October 12, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Shirley; and brother, Jack.

Marilyn was the daughter of the late Stafford and Ilma Henze Byrum. She was a 1942 graduate of Marinette High School, and from Prospect Hall Business College in Milwaukee in 1943.

Marilyn held several positions in Milwaukee – at John Hancock Insurance Company. – Secretary for the Life Underwriters Association of Wisconsin, A.O. Smith Corporation, and before moving to Manitowoc, was Private Secretary to the Chief Engineer at AC Spark Plug Division of General Motors for 10 years.

On April 15, 1950 Marilyn married Charles D. Peterson in Marinette. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1991.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Guglielmo officiating. Burial of Marilyn’s cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery.
