Funeral services for Sarah Williams, 57, of Kilgore will be 3 p.m. Saturday, October 6, at New Birth Fellowship Church, with Rev. Robert Loftis officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Victory Funeral Services.

Sarah was born to Fonnie Ector Jr. and Ernie Mae Williams in Laird Hill on Saturday, April 22, 1961, and she died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Kilgore.

She was an active member of Corinth Christian Church.

In her youth she attended Leverett’s Chapel public schools followed by a work career of 20 plus years at Laird Memorial Hospital/Allegiance Hospital. She also worked at Kilgore Nursing Center and Jordan Home Health.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ray Charles Flennoy, Thomas Williams and Bruce Smith, sisters Annie Earl Hall, Geneva Hall and Annette Ector, and two grandchildren.

She remains in the hearts of her husband, Eddie Freeman of Kilgore; children, Tangie Williams, Patrick Williams and his wife Squelia, Tracy Williams and her husband Kevin, and Ahmad Williams, all of Kilgore, and Wildrick Williams and his wife Keisha of Longview; sisters, Dorothy Jo Williams of Longview, Shirley Haynes of Kilgore, Sherly Horton and Pamela Smith, both of Longview; brothers, Shirley Mack Pierce, Travis Williams, Robert Williams, Ezekiel Williams, Jay Calvin Williams and wife Shanta, Willie Willams and wife Sharon, Mikel Smith and wife Wanda, Larry Smith, Anthony Smith and wife Valerie, and Dalton Smith, all of Kilgore, Rickey Williams and wife Gina of Longview, and Andrew Ector and wife Kelly of Gilmer; 12 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
