RIGBY - Kelli Joh Wheeler Aeschbacher, 36, of Coltman, Idaho, a former resident of Rigby, died Dec. 5, 2000, of injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born Aug. 10, 1964, in Idaho Falls, to William LeRoy Wheeler and Joyce Davis Wheeler. She was raised in the New Sweden area and attended the New Sweden Elementary School, Eagle Rock Junior High, and graduated from Skyline High School in 1982. She attended one semester at Ricks College. On Dec. 16, 1982, she married Lynn Aeschbacher in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as Beehive advisor in the Young Women' s organization, in the Primary and in the Relief Society. Kelli enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycles, camping, fishing and crafts, but most of all she enjoyed her family.
Survivors include her husband, Lynn Aeschbacher of Rigby; four daughters, Ashlie J. Aeschbacher, Colette Aeschbacher, Shasta Marie Aeschbacher, and Tiffine Rae Aeschbacher, all of Rigby; her mother and stepfather, Joyce and Jay Mahlin of Idaho Falls; sisters, Paige (Jeff) Butikofer of Coltman, Holli (Ron) Christensen of Stirling, Utah, Heidi (Steven) Smith of Coltman, and Brooke (Jim) Olson of Idaho Falls; and her grandmother, Elnora Davis of Shelley. She was preceded in death by one infant son, Nicholas Lynn, and her father, William LeRoy Wheeler.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Coltman LDS 1st Ward with Bishop Jerry Welker officiating. The family will meet with friends Friday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery in Archer.
