He was a loving husband, great father and grandfather, hard working, and family oriented. He was a Selmer High School Graduate. He was married to Darlene Evans in 1963. Leon enjoyed hunting, fishing, being a Pepaw and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Darlene Foster; two sons, Ernest Leon Foster Jr. (Missy) of Humboldt, TN, Keith Foster (Stephanie) of Medina, TN; three grandchildren, Bethney, Kruz and Dane Foster; siblings: Von Foster (Ruby), Herman Foster (Dale), Patsy McCormick (J.D.), Kathy Poole (Walter), Lola Mae Ada (Dewayne), John Foster (Shelia), Lisa Sheaffer (Brad); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster was preceded in death by siblings: Gene Foster, Joyce Whitehead and Quinn Congiardo.
