BOISE - Grant Ernest Aeschbacher, 61, of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, October 27, 1985 of a heart attack. He was born December 23, 1923 at Archer, the son of Ernest and Ruby Jane Niederer Aeschbacher. He married Kathlen Gerrard on June 28, 1953 at Idaho Falls, Mrs. Aeschbacher died in December 1983.
Grant served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He worked as a produce warehouseman, a farmer, for Forde Johnson Oil Co, and at the Experimental Breeder Reactor-I and later at EBR-II. He received a 25-year pin from Argonne National Laboratory where he had most recently been a maintenance mechanic.
He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Chase of Ririe and Elaine Daniels of Blackfoot; and two brothers, Don E. and LeRoy, both of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lyle and Leon.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel at Rigby. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery at Archer.
