Mr. Reginald B. Allgood, 64, 4624 Englesson Drive, Warren, departed this life Monday, May 1, 2007. Mr. Allgood was born July 30, 1942, in Warren, the son of Grover and Lillie Hadden Allgood. He was formerly employed with Thomas Steel as a physical tester, retiring after 38 years of service. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1960 to 1966. Mr. Allgood was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Knights of St. Peter Clavier. He was a baseball coach for Burbank Park for more than 20 years. He was an avid bowler and bowling coach. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, the former Edith Anderson, whom he married in 1968; a son, Reginald Allgood; three daughters, Edith Marie Allgood, Courtney Allgood and Terrie Stevenson, all of Warren; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lonnie Allgood; and six sisters and seven brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Pius Catholic Church, Warren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Pius Catholic Church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren. Arrangements entrusted to Sibley-Murray Funeral Home, Warren.
