Darl F. ‘‘Red'' Albert, 74, of Williamsfield died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren following a brief illness of leukemia. He was born June 29, 1932, in Andover, the son of Clifford and Lena Lewis Albert. He served in the U.S. Army during Korean War and owned and operated the Pymatuning Area News newspaper. He was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Andover. Mr. Albert is survived by his sister, Pauline Headman of Ashtabula; and two brothers, Russell of Ashtabula and Dale of Bushnell, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, Andover, where calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover.
