Georgetown, IN Kevin Jay Love, age 60, passed away at his home on Friday, October 12, 2018. Kevin was born in New Albany on May 7, 1958 to Robert “Bobby” Love and Emma Jane (Emerson) Love. Kevin graduated from Floyd Central High School, Class of 1976. He was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church. Kevin was a production supervisor for LG & E in Louisville, KY. Kevin loved sports and was a dedicated IU Fan. He enjoyed camping and fishing as well as Classic Rock Music and watching the old comedy classics of Laurel & Hardy, Red Skelton, and the Three Stooges.
He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Jane (Emerson) Love, and his brother Michael Robert Love, and twin siblings. He is survived by his father Robert “Bobby” Love, his Fiance’ Lisa Mulligan, two sons Kevin Wyatt (Allison) Love and Kaelin Robert (Meagan) Love, two daughters Melissa Gail (Barry) Nix and Brooke Emily Love, one brother Max Emerson Love and one sister Kelly Denise Walker. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Logan Love, Hayden Love, Emma Love, Ivy Love, Isaac Love, Tobin Love, Quinlan Love, Zebulon Love, and Elijah Nix.
Funeral service will be at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra at 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. till time of service on Monday, October 15, 2018.
