After high school graduation, he worked as a security officer for a brief period and then enrolled in an EMT program and graduated as a licensed emergency response technician and transporter. He later enlisted into the United States Army and National Guard Reserves. He was activated to do a few tours in Germany. He also served in the Iraq war and was able to make it home safely. While in the Reserve, he also did smaller tours yearly.
Clifford was his mother’s only child, but he later joyfully embraced the birth of two siblings, Matthew and Ciera Harvey, whom he loved dearly. He never married or had any children, but he always stayed busy trying to improve himself. He joined the UA Plumbers Local Union No. 1 and attended their Training Center to become a welder and plumber. While attending school, he also worked through the Union doing construction.
Some of the things Clifford loved most were traveling, drinking his red bull energy drink and having a cocktail or two. He loved spending time with his cousins Katia and Nastasia whom he grew up with, and he also loved hanging with his boys Lee and Mario. He was always about identifying new ways to make money. His ultimate goal was to be able to retire from the Army in three years, so he could move away from NJ and just relax.
Clifford was predeceased in death by his grandmother Jolena White; his grandparents William II and Bettie Harvey; his uncle Jerry White; his aunt Elizabeth C. McMillan and his cousin Brandon Harvey.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Sandra and William; a brother Mathew P Harvey; a sister Ciera C. Harvey; an aunt and uncle Suzette and William Byrd; a beloved great-aunt Doris Harris, dear cousins Katia Page and Nastasia Cato-Lespinasse; best friends Lee Jones and Mario Exantus; and Lee’s mother Miss Ernestine Fitz.
