Nell M. Cooksey Martin, 92, Linden, Ind., died Jan. 25, 2005 at the St. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville, Ind.
She was a member of the Linden Baptist Church.
She was born in Monroe County on July 11, 1912, in the Lamb community. In 1932, she married in Wesley Cooksey, who died in 1977. She later married Jim Martin, who died in 1983.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Baldwin, Crawfordsville, and Tressie Hamilton, Martinsville, Ind.; two step-grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
A step-son, Julius Cooksey, a sister and three brothers, all preceded her in death.
