Funeral services for Floyd L. Turner, 82, of Needham will be Sunday, October 14, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Needham Assembly of God with Rev. Joseph Futral and Rev. Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Brightwater Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Turner passed away Thursday, October 11th at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born January 3, 1936 in Melvin, Alabama, to Luther Turner and Sadie Mae Irby Turner.

He loved his family and most of all his Heavenly Father. He was faithfully devoted to church. Hunting, Fishing, and Alabama Football were also among some of his favorite hobbies.

Survivors include his loving, wife of 64 years Mildred Whittington Turner of Needham; sons Randall Turner of Butler; Barry Turner (Kim) of Needham; 4 grandchildren Steven Turner (Hannah), Justin Turner (Brittney), Matthew Turner (Akyla), and Rebecca Morgan; and 5 great grandchildren Makenna, Mabry, Sadie, Bryson, and Jaxson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Paul "Peachie" Turner, his twin brother Loyd Turner; and John Turner.

Pallbearers are Randall Turner, Barry Turner, Steven Turner, Justin Turner, Matthew Turner, and Dale Whittington.
