Obituary for Lisa Marie Walker
BURLESON - On Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, Lisa Marie (Sublett) Walker loving wife and mother of six children went to be with the Lord at the age of 50 surrounded by her children and family.

Lisa Marie was born Jan. 20, 1968, in Fort Worth to parents James N. (Jim) Sublett Sr. and Nancy Marie (Henrietta) Burt. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UTA in 1997. She worked with children in need of critical care. Her care went far beyond their medical needs. She had a true passion for them and their families and it was not uncommon for her to go above and beyond to help them with various other needs such as bills, home repairs, and even seeking out special events for them to attend. Over her twenty plus years in nursing, she cared for over a thousand medically fragile children. Lisa was known to all as an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and could not be interrupted during a Cowboys game. On Jan. 19, 2013, she married her middle school sweetheart, Joe Lance Walker. Lisa was a proud mother of six wonderful children and four stepchildren.

Lisa Marie was preceded in death by her father, Jim Sublett Sr.; maternal grandparents, F.L. and Jewell Marie Henrietta Jr.; and paternal grandparents, L.E. and Anne Sublett Sr.

Lisa Marie is survived by her husband, Joe L. Walker; mother, Nancy and stepfather, Steve Burt; daughter, Jodi Davis and husband, Karl; son, Michael Dool and wife, Whittney; daughters, Alexis, Maci, Rilea and son, Ryan; stepson, Britton Walker; stepdaughters, Leah Walker, Erika Sanchez, and Juliana Walker; grandchildren, Kaylie, Brooke, Gracie, and Peyton; siblings, Stephanie Kaimana, James Sublett Jr., and Cherie Sublett; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
