John was a beloved father, son, brother, and coworker. He was a highly respected and appreciated Production Manager at CAE. He enjoyed fast cars, cooking, fishing, gem mining, mountain streams, cabins, and was an avid Buccaneers fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Reginia; mother, Janet Sanders; three children, Sean Roddy, Christopher Sutton, and Ashley Roddy; and one sister, Angela Keyser. John was preceded in death by his first son, Nicholas John Roddy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29 from 6 until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. until service time at Manasota Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m.in the chapel of Manasota Funeral Home with entombment to immediately follow at Manasota Memorial Park. Rev. Craig DeBower will officiate the services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
