Donna Dorene Sewell, age 86, passed away October 9, 2018 in Farmington, NM. Donna was born on April 21, 1932 in Sanford CO. to Merle and Gladys (Hutchins) McKenzie .
Donna started her senior year, but did not finish. She loved singing and playing guitar with her family and friends. She was very creative and loved to paint and make ceramic figures. Donna belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Were she served many years in the Relief Society as a President or Councilor. She also worked in the Genealogy Library. Donna always served at every election in her district.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband Sam Sewell; parents Merle and Gladys McKenzie; brothers Lyle, Donald and Dennis McKenkie; sisters Lenna Palmgren and Alene Reeves.
She is survived by her two sons Rickey (Brenda) Sewell, Terry (Judy) Sewell and one daughter Sheyrl (William) Neville, 13 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 from 5-7pm at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 400 W. Apache St. Farmington, NM. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
