Kentucky New Era obit posted 12 Oct 2018 reads as follows:

Randy Caldwell, 54, Cadiz, died at 6:32 pm Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at his home of natural causes.

Services will be at 2 pm Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev. Jamus Redd, Rev. Joseph Allen, and Paul Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Cerulean Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Sept. 4, 1964, the son of J.L. and Joyce Caldwell, Hopkinsville.

He was owner of Western Kentucky Door in Cadiz since 2002. He supported local charities, including Seven Friends and Toys for Tots. He was a member of Sinking Fork Baptist Church in Christian County.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Melissa Bagby Caldwell, Cadiz; his daughter, Lindsay Caldwell (Matt) Hunt, Hopkinsville; his step-son, Matthew (Emily) Russell, Hopkinsville; his step-daughter, Kaci (Ryan) Mason; his brother, Brad Caldwell, Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Memorials contributions may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Ave. Hopkinsville, Ky. 42240.
