Sheila C. Russell, a resident of Mt. Olive, Alabama, was born in Anniston, Alabama on July 23rd, 1952 and she passed away peacefully on December 8, 2017 at the age of 65. Sheila was a graduate of Gardendale High School. She loved her family dearly and cherished the time she spent with them, her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She also loved her pets and considered them to be part of the family.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ardath Paris and her sister, Brenda McLeod.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 39 years, Thomas Russell, Jr. known as “Junior;” her sons, Tony Mason (Tina) of Whitehouse, Tennessee; Tommy Russell (Allison) of Gardendale, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Hayleigh Mason, Gregory Mason, Leland Mason, Jessica Russell, Daniel Russell, Sarah Ritch (Corey), and Lauren Russell; her three nieces, Shelly, Shannon, and Dianne; and a host of friends and family.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 with a visitation to begin at 11:00am; funeral service at 12:00 noon, followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
