Born on September 5, 1942 in Clarksville, IN, he was the son of A.C. Campbell and Helen (Dart) Campbell, who are both deceased.
On December 30, 1966 at Cana United Methodist Church, he married E. Clara “Bootsie” Akers who passed away on February 7, 2018.
Troy worked at the former U.S. Shoe Corp. for 19 years and 6 months and later retired from Excel Manufacturing in the maintenance Dept.
Troy was a member of the former Crothersville Foursquare Church and the House of Prayer in Austin, IN. He enjoyed gardening, horses, and watching old westerns on television. Troy was a giving person and loved playing practical jokes on people. Although he and his wife, Clara, had no children of their own, they were involved with their families children including their nieces and nephews, loving and doting all over them.
Survivors include, 6 siblings, Charles Spicer, Larry (Jan) Campbell, Leo Robert (Ivy) Campbell, Sue Deaton, Geneva (Curt) Collman, Charlotte Sherman, several nieces, & nephews.
Brother Jerry Ousley will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Cana Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday, October 15, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 10:00 AM on Tuesday, all at Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Crothersville.
