Mr. Hagan was born on June 2, 1925 to Otis and Cassie L. Smith Hagan in Couchwood, LA and passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Cotton Valley, LA. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from the International Paper Company after 36 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his son, John Lott Hagan, Jr. of Minden, LA; grandson, Dustin Jon Hagan and wife, Rhonda of Vivian, LA; two sisters, Tishie "Tooty" Lanora Hagan of Kansas City, MO, Greta Mosely of Minden, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hagan was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles "Lindy" Hagan, and Willie "Peck" Hagan; and a sister, Martha Sue Morgan.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Farrington, Jimmy Tipton, Jason Farrington, and Kirby Potts.
The family would like to give special thanks to Donita, Melissa, and Mrs. Moses from Life Path Hospice, our angel, Terrie Hughes, and special life friend, Reba Shadden, and family.
