GREER, Paul H. Age 86, of Dunnellon, FL, formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, in Lecanto, FL. Paul was born on February 7, 1932 in Washington, DC. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Opal (Adams) Greer, and his beloved son, Kenneth R. Sproles. Paul is survived by his son, Greg (Julie) Greer of Beavercreek, OH; daughter, Paula (Greg) Budge of Citrus Springs, FL; and daughter-in-law, Karen Sproles of Springfield, OH. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Krista (Nick) Groves, Beth Greer, Gregory "Greggo" Budge, Amy Greer, and Kelli Sproles; and 9 great-grandchildren. Paul was a Korean War Army combat veteran, and retired from the Dayton Post Office as a distribution clerk. Paul was a proud Past Master of the Farmersville, Ohio #482 Masonic Lodge, and received his 50 year honor this month in the Masonic order. Paul was also an avid fisherman. A visitation will be held from 10-11AM with Masonic rites and funeral service to follow beginning at 11:00 AM on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. Interment with military honors will follow immediately after the service at Trissel Cemetery.
