Ann Lucille Perry, 69, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018, at CHI St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck; after a four year battle with leukemia.

Ann was born April 1, 1949, at Fargo, to Hamilton and Lucille (Roesler) Wills. She was raised and educated in Chaffee, North Dakota, where she graduated from high school in 1967. She earned a Bachelor Degree from NDSU, and her Master’s Degree at Montana State University where she also worked toward her doctorate. Ann taught in Watertown, South Dakota, served as School Administrator at Lagre Indian School, Ashland, Montana, and Trenton, North Dakota, served as Principal at Mandan Junior High School, and most recently served as Assistant Principal at Mandan High School. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Mandan, American Association of University Women, P.E.O. and the Bismarck Rotary Club.

On August 8, 2003, she married Joe Perry in Fargo. She enjoyed having the extended family of Joe’s daughters and families, and their nieces and nephews. Her passion was cooking and baking; and she enjoyed hunting, and fishing with Joe. She and Joe spent many hours fishing on the Missouri River near their home, where she reeled in some trophy northerns and a perch. She also loved collecting, especially cookbooks, pottery, crystal, and dishes.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, Mandan; sister, Jane (Rae) Kurth, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; brother, Keith Wills, Fargo; nieces and nephews, Nicole Wills, Heather (JB) Brown, Kristin (TJ) Just, Steve Wills, Bradley (Anne) Wills, Jodi (Jake) Shirley, Ryan Wills, Marie Kurth, Andrew Kurth, and Bethany Kurth.
