Donald Klein, age 85 of Hartford (formerly Rubicon), Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Donald was born in Butler, WI, on December 12, 1932, to Mary (nee Schaub) and John Klein. He was united in marriage to Shirley A. McCanna on May 10, 1980. Donald worked for Briggs and Stratton as a gear designer. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, polka music, but most of all loved to spend time with his family. Donald is survived by his loving children, Donald (Carol) Klein of South Carolina, Diana (Mick) Stormonth of Texas, and step-son Mike (Melinda) Barry of Rubicon; 11 cherished grandchildren, Clayton, Jake (Stephanie), Luke, Nick (Danielle), Tasha (Josh), Keelan, Michah, Anna, Joanne (Tim), Leiland, Amanda; 4 cherished great-grandchildren, Jake Jr., Samantha, Lilah, and Hailee; dear brother, Lawrence (Marilyn) Klein. He is further survived by many other loved nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and his cherished dog Nikki. He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife of 34 years, Shirley, siblings John, Ray, Erv, and Ellie. Private family services were held.
