In 1977, she met SSG. Wayne E. Fields in Miesau, Germany. They married in 1982. To this union, 3 children were born.
She loved cooking, shopping and most of all, her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Wayne Fields; 5 children, Sarah Thomas, Jesse and James Fields and Michael and Oliver Schafer; 4 sisters, 1 brother, and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marshall, TX. Interment, Old Powder Mill Cemetery, Marshall, TX. Viewing will be from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Peoples Funeral Home, Marshall, TX.
