Michael Shane McCrory age 44 of Winfield passed away Tuesday in the St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. Shane was born on April 14, 1974 in Colbert County, AL a son of Larry Joe and Mildred Berryman McCrory. He was born and raised in Colbert Co. and attended school in the Tuscumbia area. He has been a resident of Winfield for serval years where he owned and operated his own business, Winfield Towing and Recovery. He always took pride in his job. He loved his family, riding his Harley and racing.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Bassham.
Shane is survived by his wife, Casey Dozier McCrory of Winfield, his parents, Larry Joe and Mildred McCrory of Russellville, sons, Hayden McCrory of Russellville, Caden Tucker of Winfield, daughters, Mallorie and Maci McCrory of Russellville and Hannah McCrory of Pontotoc, MS, brother, Derek McCrory of Russellville, grandson, Bentle McCrory of Pontotoc and a host of friends and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2 P.M. from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home with burial following in Tidwell’s Chapel Cemetery. Tony German will be the officiating minister. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
