A native of Oconee County, SC, Mr. Bryant was the son of the late L.J. and Lucy Lusk Bryant. He retired as a textile worker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Bryant is survived by his son: Hilton Shane Bryant of Salem; daughter: Anetha Junie Bryant of Salem; brothers and sisters: Susie Bryant Swafford of Salem, Ella-Mae Bryant Roach of Salem, Louie Bryant of West Union, Roger Bryant of Salem, Wayne Bryant of Walhalla, Debora McKinney of Lake Toxaway, NC, Linsey Bryant of Lake Toxaway, NC, Dexter Bryant of Walhalla, Stevie Bryant of Walhalla and Rex Bryant of Tamassee; and one granddaughter: Aleigha Brianna Coward.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his sister: Martha Bryant Swafford.
Burial at Whitmire Cemetery.
