Paula Marie Cook, 65, of Chili, passed away Wednesday at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, she moved to Upstate New York in 1984. She enjoyed her time in ministry serving alongside her husband, Barry, with the Church of the Nazarene Upstate District. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Barry; daughters, Darlene (Eric) Pappert of Rochester and Nicole (Bud) Buckhout of Camillus; sons, Barry (Sharon) Cook of Syracuse and Paul (Katie) Cook of Marcellus; grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Joshua, Erica, Chelsea, Cassandra, Natalie, Elijah, Sydney and Benjamin; three sisters; one brother and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, March 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Christ Community Church of the Nazarene, 3644 Warners Rd. Services will follow at 4 p.m.
