Joseph Bailey Owen, 76, resident of Daleville, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 in Carmel. He was born in Clay County, KY, Oct. 4, 1941, the son of Joseph and Ethel Shelton Owen. He retired after 30+ years from General Motors (Delco Battery). He was a 1959 graduate of Pendlton Heights High School. He was a member of the UAW and a Democratic committeeman.

He is survived by three children, Christopher, Kimberly, and Joseph; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and his sister, Lois.

Services will be at noon on Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Daleville. Burial will follow at Pendleton. Friends may call from 10-12 on Monday at the funeral home.
