MT. AIRY, Md Bobby Gene Fowler Sr., 51, Mt. Airy, Md., passed away suddenly on Sunday, Dec.11, 2016.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec.16, 2016, at Post Oak Mennonite Brethren Church, Indiahoma, with Pastor John Webb officiating.

Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Bobby was born Dec.17, 1964, in El Reno. He graduated from Del City High School, Del City, and the University of Oklahoma, Norman. He had a 24-year career with the Federal government in the Department of Health and Human Services. He was an impassioned Oklahoma Sooners fan and sports fan in general, having spent many years in coaching his sons' baseball, football, basketball, and lacrosse teams. He also refereed and umpired high school baseball, basketball and football games.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Mount Airy, Md.; sons: Bobby Gene Jr., and Brett Henry (and fianceÈ and grandson Samantha and Bo) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Brady Jeremiah of Mt. Airy, Md.; one brother, Benjamin; parents-in-law: Howard and Susie Roach of Cache; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan Elizabeth; parents: Jimmy Andrew and Bina Lou; and sisters: Jimmie Sue and Diane.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby, Brett, and Brady Fowler, Brad Hubbs, Tracy Hubbs, Chad Lindsey, Scott Partin and Jamie Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Abdelaziz Dallaly, Lahcen Dallaly, Timmy Fowler and Jeremiah Wahkinney.
