Mary Golden, 84, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at a local health care facility. The Lawrence County native was born September 19, 1934, a daughter of the late Edgar and Helen Stephens Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Golden.
Mrs. Golden was a graduate of Waterloo High School and a former retail manager with Hills Department Store. She attended the First Methodist Church in Ironton.

She is survived by:
three sons: Rick Fugitt, Carlos Fugitt both of South Point and Stephen Fugitt of Tennessee
four grandchildren: Rebecca Fugitt of Clarksville, TN, Bobbie Fugitt, Bruce Fugitt, and Ryan Fugitt all of Ironton
two great grandchildren: Jarett Fugitt and Tyler Fugitt of Tennessee
Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2018 in Wilgus Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Don Woolum officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio.
