Evelyn Elizabeth Sinsel Bowman, 96 of Grafton passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Windy Hill Village, Kingwood, WV, with her loving family by her side. She was born August 22, 1920, in Phoebus, VA, daughter of the late Ralph W and Evelyn Rau Redinger.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl W. Sinsel and John D. Bowman.

She graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1938. She retired from the US Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. Elizabeth taught piano lesson for many years in Grafton, and played the organ at the EUB Church on Dewey Avenue and at the First Christian Church on McGraw Avenue. She also played the organ at Bartlett Funeral Home for many families. She relocated to Canyon Lake, TX to care for her parents and while she was there, she played and became a member of the Canyon Lake United Methodist Church, Canyon Lake, TX.

Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Paul Sinsel and wife Tammy, Saint Augustine, FL, Gary Sinsel and wife Susan, Grafton; one sister, Barbara Davis, Clearwater, FL; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Kenneth Estel, Metamora, MI; step daughter, Brenda; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by three children, Barbara "Bunny" Estel, David Richard "Dick" Sinsel, Elizabeth Jean Sanders; and one brother, Richard Redinger, one sister, Helen Virginia Backlund.

Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Marshall Woods III officiating. Private Interment will be at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
