Crystal Jill Duncan, 35, died January 14, 2017 in an automobile accident. She was a graduate of Mainland High School and a former respiratory therapist at Halifax Hospital. As of late, Crystal was a full time devoted mother, loving daughter and granddaughter. She loved her community and helped in many ways, including providing transportation to the polls. She took blanket backpacks to the homeless which always included food and a bible. Crystal loved her family and was an avid genealogist. Survivors include Scott Jackson and their son, Scott Jackson, Jr; her father, Ronald Duncan, (Robin Richardson); a brother with whom she shared a special relationship, Ronald Duncan II, (Lisa); a sister, Stephanie Dicus; step brother and sister, Bruce and Kristin Richardson; her loving paternal grandmother, Emily Davis; many other loving family members and friends. A Memorial Service for Crystal will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Flomich Baptist Church, 1305 Flomich St. Holly Hill. In lieu of other remembrances the family suggests donates be made at the service to the Flomich Baptist Feed the Children Program. Crystal would appreciate "doing something eternal."
