BARNWELL - Salvador J. Barragan, 75, died Thursday, December 2, 2004, in Bamberg County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Dover Plains, NY, he was the son of the late Miguel Mendoza and Josefa Junco Barragan. He was married to the late Helen Delk Barragan. He was a retired electrical engineer with the Boeing Corp. He was a Marine veteran of WWII. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Andrews Catholic Church with Father Michael Oenbrink officiating. Entombment will follow in the Bamberg Memory Gardens , Bamberg , SC. Holy Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday evening at Mole Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8 p.m.

Survivors include nieces, Betty R. Everett, Virginia R. Morris, Sally R. Weeks of Hilda, SC, Julia Hunter of Olar, SC, and Sandra Magness of Little Rock, Ark.; nephews, Gerald Wyatt of Ft. Worth, TX, Pat Ray of Hilda, SC, Harry Ray and Shannon Ray of Olar, SC.
