Robert 'Bob' McKeon, known as a gentleman with quick wit, intelligence and generosity, died peacefully at Hospice of Spokane, surrounded by family, on September 8, 2018 from Lymphoma.

Bob was from Orange, New Jersey, where he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving faithfully from 1948-1957 in radio communications. While serving, Robert met his wife, Jane. They married in 1954, during which time Robert earned a technical degree from William and Mary College and had two children. When an opportunity to transfer to the Bay Area in San Jose arose in the early 1960's, he began his career as a computer engineer, making many lifelong friends. He was a good listener, but also loved a good poker game and could tell jokes non-stop. He loved life and everyone, finding humor as the best medicine for a happy life.

Bob was preceded in death by Jane Frances Zielinski, his beloved wife of 62 years, in 2015 and their son, Robert (Bobby) in 1985.

He is survived by one daughter Anne, his grandson Robert, their families and friends who will miss him terribly.

Interment at Los Gatos Memorial Park.
