Obituary of Bonnie Dean Allphin Jacobs

Bonnie Dean Allphin Jacobs, age 87, of Walton, KY, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Walton, a 1949 graduate of Walton Verona High School and a member of Walton United Methodist Church. Bonnie enjoyed shopping, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends. Her husband, Finley Jacobs, Jr., preceded her in death in 1999. She and Junior previously operated a successful farm in Richwood, KY, Shamrock Farm. Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Debbie Jacobs Winston (Bob), Carol Jacobs McKinley (Vern), and Joy Jacobs Glassmann (Larry); sisters, Glenna Allphin Rice (Don) and Mary Eva Allphin Massie; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will be at New Bethel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Larry's Kids Foundation, 30 School Rd., Walton, KY 41094. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
