A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson, with Pastor Terry Siler of First Congregational Church officiating. Interment will follow at Matteson Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at the funeral home.
Brian was born May 24, 1956, to Roy and Roberta (Bullock) Bell in Sturgis. He graduated Bronson High School in 1974. Brian was a hardworking man, spending many years as a car-hauler, where he was a member of the Teamster's Union.
On Nov. 4, 2004, he married Elizabeth Klawinski in Las Vegas.
Brian was a man of many interests. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering on his tractor, golf and bowling. Brian also liked to go fishing and deer hunting. His true joy in life was spending time with his family, traveling to his girls' sporting events and later doing the same with his grandchildren. Brian will be remembered as being a good listener, always having an open door at his home, and being a friend to everyone. He will be missed by many.
Brian is survived by his wife of nearly 14 years, Beth Bell of Sherwood; his mother, Roberta "Bobbie" Bell-Parks of Bronson; his daughters, Melissa (Ryan) Murphy and Jen (Jon) Marble, both of Battle Creek; his brothers, Robert "Bob" (Robin Sprow) Bell of Elkhart, Ind., and Charles (Loraine) Bell of Bronson; his grandchildren, Makenzie, Aubrey and Raegan Murphy and Jackson Marble; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad, Roy Bell; and his mother and father-in-law Leonard and Barbara Klawinski.
