Jeffrey Scott Machiele, age 61, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018, at American House in Holland after a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by his father, Ronald Machiele of Holland; sister and brothers, Pam and Dave Yonker of Holland, Tim Machiele of Holland, Mark and Sonja Machiele of Holland, Brian and Kim Machiele of Holland; nieces, Stephanie Machiele and Meaghan Machiele of Holland. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Machiele.
Jeffrey served in the US Navy aboard the USS G W Carver from 1974 to 1980. He will be buried at sea by the US Navy.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
