Funeral services for Albert Bryan "A.B." Walden, 88, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, at Providence Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. John Forseman will officiate. Interment with military honors will be in Providence Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Walden passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Mr. Walden was born on September 28, 1930, in Whigham, GA, to the late John Ruben "J.R." Walden and Lucille Smith Walden. He served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 27 years of active service. On September 6, 1952, he married Angela Harthenthler Walden, who survives. His favorite hobbies were golf and bowling. He loved spending time with family and loved ones. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife of 66 years, Angela H. Walden; grandchildren, Chris Walden, Aimee Walden; great-grandchildren, Brittany Williamson, Taylor Wynn, Caroline Wynn, Sara Grace Wynn, Whitley Riggins (Wade), Drew Walden, Josie Walden; great-great-grandchildren, Kalli Williamson, Kabrey Williamson, Landon Riggins, Hailyn Riggins; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, Roy Walden; and a sister, Martha Forseman.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Walden's memory to a charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, October 11, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
