Jimmie spent his working career with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Working with race horses was his passion. It was what he loved to do. Racing horses, breaking, and training them; that was his life, but he never gave up time with his wife as she was there working right along side him, and they enjoyed going to the horse races together.
Aside from horses, Jimmie loved the outdoors, watching old western movies, Native American history, and reading. He also loved his garden and took extremely good care of his strawberries and fruit trees. He had a green thumb and could grow just about anything. He was the man that people would consider the "jack of all trades" and whenever you needed help with something he was always there. He loved and adored his family and cherished the time he got to spend with them, especially his granddaughters that he loved to spoil.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Beulah Pearson.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Pearson; son, Ricky Pearson (Mary); daughter, Robin Stafford (Doug Parker); brother, Billy Pearson; three granddaughters Nicole Stafford (Mark Schlosser), Toni Stafford, Nikki Pearson; great-grandchildren Kade Schlosser, Makynzi and Brooklynn Campbell, and many other friends and family that will forever cherish their memories of Jimmie.
