Salem - Marcia Lewis Clark passed away May 17, 2018, in Salem. The youngest of six children, she was born May 17, 1922, in Miles City, MT, to Eleanor Constance and Ernest E. Lewis. She grew up in Des Moines and Casey, IA, and upon high school graduation in 1940 moved to Klamath Falls, OR. In 1949 she married M. Harold Clark in Carson City, NV, and they resided in Klamath Falls until 1978 when they retired to a small farm in Independence; he died in 1993. In 1994 she moved to Dallas, OR; 2006 to King City, OR; and 2010 to Salem. She was an accomplished dancer, seamstress, ceramic artist, painter and cook and her family was the joy of her life. She is survived by children Chuck Clark of Tigard, OR, and Connie (Don) Wildfang of Salem; grandchildren Kate (Peter) James of Salem, Lindsey (Eric) Brady of Seattle, Bryce Clark of Tumwater, WA, Drew (Lieu) Clark of Kent, WA, and Adam Clark of Tigard; and nine great-grandchildren. The family extends special thanks to Ali and Anna at Benevolence Care Home for wonderful care the past year and a half.

Private family graveside will be Monday, May 21, in Independence; a life celebration will be held at a later date. Contributions in her memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association, alz.org. Farnstrom Mortuary of Independence is handling arrangements; online at FarnstromMortuary.com.
