She was born on April 21, 1922, in New York City daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Reed. Elsie was a lifelong competitor in the Senior Olympics, on the State, National & World Levels. She enjoyed golf, art and bowling. Elsie was also a Diet Workshop Leader.
Elsie is survived by her son, Harry (Christine) Adams of Syracuse, grandchildren, Elsie, George, Tammy, Kenneth, 8 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Dolly Richardson, along with nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Adams; son, George Adams, Jr. and a granddaughter, Christiana Adams.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Graveside service will be held on Thursday 10 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Homer.
