Anne N. (Nutter) Colson, 81, died Friday, May 15, 2009 at Governor’s Center in Westfield.
She was born in Springfield to the late Charles A. and Mable A. (Decker) Nutter and was a graduate of Westfield High School and Becker College.
Anne was President of Pioneer Dairy in Southwick after her father the founder died in 1990.
She was a longtime member of Southwick Congregational Church, was an avid golfer and was a former member of St. Anne’s Country Club, Agawam.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Charles R. Colson of Southwick, her sons, C. Brett Colson and Paul R. Colson, both of Southwick, her sister, Evelyn C. Turner of Pueblo, CO, her five grandchildren, C. Brett Colson, II, Zachary S. Colson, Sarah A. Colson, Paul M. Colson and Angela L. Colson, her niece, Carol A. Barnes of Southwick.
She was predeceased by her brother, Charles “Bud” Elbert Nutter in 1947.

A Funeral Home Service was held for Anne in the Southwick Funeral Home, Southwick, followed by burial in New Cemetery, Southwick.
