Randy Johnson, 54, of Big Spring, died Thursday, October 4, 2018 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Cornerstone Covenant Church with Pastor Michael B. Willard officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

He was born July 5, 1964 in Big Spring to Billy and Opal Johnson.

Randy was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1982.

He attended North Texas State University before returning to Big Spring to work with his parents in the family business, Johnson Sheet Metal.

His passion was music and he played in numerous bands and at various churches. He enjoyed giving music lessons and collecting coins.

He was a member of Cornerstone Covenant Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Taylor Johnson, Tori Johnson and Kyrie Clark all of Big Spring; seven grandchildren, Hayden Garza, Jacob Johnson, Carmen White, Haylee Cordova, Semaj Wright, Kennin Gambrell and Keegan Clark; one brother, Mark Johnson; and one sister, Gina Kilgore of New Braunfels.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Billy Ray Johnson.
