Olga Korff was born on February 22, 1911. She was born in a village named "Minutka," a German colony near Zhitomir, in Ukraine. She married Ivan Wigowsky in 1933. They were advised to leave the Soviet Union during WWII because of the anti-German hatred. They lived in Germany for 9 years before immigrating to America in April, 1952. Ivan and Olga and their 3 sons moved to San Francisco, California in August, 1953 to join the Russian Gospel Temple. In 1976 Ivan and Olga moved to Woodburn, Oregon and attended the Russian Gospel Church there. Olga passed away on May 23 (Ascension Sunday), 2004 at the age of 93.
Olga is survived by her husband Ivan and her three sons: Adolf, Stanley, and Paul. She also has seven grandchildren: Lydia, Michael, Zina, Paul Steven, Susie, Daniel, and Marie; and one great-granddaughter, Kara.
