STATON -- Larry D., Sr., 65, passed away Monday, October 9, 2006, in Coweta, OK. Born June 27, 1941, in Tulsa, OK, to Clyde and Margie Staton.

Graduate of Central High School in 1959. Veteran of Air National Guard. Larry was a Loss Control Inspector with Farm Bureau, retiring in 2003. He loved to fish, play games, and spend time with family and friends. He truly enjoyed watching his grandchildren in all of their many activities.

Survived by his wife, Marilyn of the home; 2 sons, Larry D. Staton Jr. and Netta Moss of Coweta, Gary Staton and Danielle Teakell of Broken Arrow; 2 daughters, Dianna (Young) Hampton and husband, Steve of Broken Arrow, Debbie (Young) Davis and husband, Randy of Skiatook; 2 grandsons, Gavin Staton and Colton Brewer, also another grandson on the way, Drake Staton; 2 granddaughters, Heather Massey and Kali Davis; 1 brother, Gary Staton and wife, Jeanne of Guys, IL; 2 sisters, Patty Salzman and husband, Ron of Broken Arrow, and Linda Jensen and husband, Wayne of Shawnee, KS; myriad of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2006, at Moore's Southlawn, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Moore's Southlawn Chapel, (918) 663-2233, www.moorefuneral.com
