Mr. Daniel "Ross" Willis, 36, died suddenly Tuesday, October 2, 2018. He was born July 30, 1982 in Clarksdale, MS to Daniel Dwayne Willis and Mary Patterson Willis. Daniel was a 2000 graduate of Saltillo High School. He served as a seaman in the U.S. Navy during the 9/11 crisis. He worked as an extruder employed by Cerro Wire of Hartselle, AL. He was a member of Desperation Church. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, and all sports including football. He was married to Leah Clements. A celebration of Ross's life will be at 4 PM, Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Soma Church, 499 Gloster Creek Village, Suite D4, Tupelo, MS 38804 (facing Industrial Road), with Pastor Jay Stanley officiating. Visitation will be from 3PM to service time. A private family burial will follow at Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife Leah Willis of Cullman, AL; children Jaden Willis of Saltillo, Dylan Willis of Tupelo, Lori Bailey and David Bailey of Dothan, AL, and a daughter on the way, Asher Willis of Cullman. He is also survived by two sisters, Cortney Willis of Cullman, AL and Laura Caldwell (Joshua) of Tupelo.
